Cristiano Ronaldo has secured another accolade, earning a Guinness World Record for the most victories in international football.
In November last year, Ronaldo set another international football record after scoring twice in Portugal’s 5-1 victory over Poland. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner surpassed his former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos, becoming the player with the most wins in international matches with 132..
Before Portugal’s Nations League quarter-final second leg against Denmark at Estadio Jose Alvalade, Ronaldo was officially presented with a Guinness World Record plaque recognizing him as the player with the most international victories.

Ronaldo also holds Guinness World Records for the most goals in international football, becoming the first player to reach 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League, and being the most-followed male on Instagram.
Unfortunately, Ronaldo couldn’t celebrate his latest award with a standout performance, as he missed a penalty in the first half against Denmark. The 40-year-old is set to return to club duty with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr on April 4, facing a crucial showdown against arch-rivals Al-Hilal.
