Man Utd advised that winning the Europa League could help secure Harry Kane, with Ruben Amorim tipped for a £300m summer spree.
Winning the Europa League could pave the way for Man Utd to sign Harry Kane, with the club reportedly preparing a £300m ($401m) transfer overhaul.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Manchester United have pursued the Three Lions star for years but failed to strike an agreement with domestic rivals Spurs – whom they’ll now battle in a high-stakes European final carrying Champions League implications.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
After finally ending his well-documented trophy drought by winning the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich in 2025, Kane has now sparked rumors of a potential homecoming.
DID YOU KNOW?
Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with Kane, as only elite-level projects could tempt the 31-year-old back to England. United aim to position themselves as contenders for 2025-26, with ambitious summer plans underway.

WHAT DIETMAR HAMANN SAID
Ex-Bayern and Premier League veteran Dietmar Hamann doubts Kane will be part of Man Utd’s squad rebuild, telling BettingLounge.co.uk :
“People say the Bundesliga isn’t as strong as the Premier League and Bayern Munich are superior to the other teams, but he is playing for a good team that is creating chances and it helps him be the best finisher around.
“I think he’ll still be around that in five years’ time, whether he has the legs to get into the positions remains to be seen, but the next one or two seasons he will be for sure.
“Manchester United will only start making offers after the Europa League final because if they don’t get into the Champions League there is no way they can attract a player like Harry Kane.
“It’s a huge game when it comes to transfer targets, it would change the whole season for either United or Spurs, I think it’s the most intriguing Europa League final for a number of years.
“The only way United might attract Kane is by getting into the Champions League and spending 300 million on a lot of top players in the summer, otherwise I can’t see it.”
WHAT NEXT?
The striker has shown no signs of seeking a Premier League return, remaining under contract with Bayern until 2027 after claiming consecutive Bundesliga top scorer awards.
