Atlanta United once again celebrated the city’s cultural stars by welcoming rapper JID and superproducer Metro Boomin as special guests for their Eastern Conference showdown with Orlando City. JID led the team’s iconic Golden Spike ceremony, driving home a railroad spike signed by players and fans as the crowd roared ‘A-T-L’ with each hammer strike—a nod to Atlanta’s railroad roots. The pregame festivities also saw both artists receive custom Atlanta United jerseys before the match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
