In an interview for his Cleats Club platform, Kane discussed facing former colleagues: “It’s obviously still a few months away yet, but it will be great to see some of the guys again – especially after having a couple of successful seasons each, and just to see how they are getting on. In our stadium, in front of our fans as well, it will be a great match up and hopefully a great game.”

Tottenham first faced Kane’s return in a 2024 preseason clash at their stadium, where Bayern emerged 3-2 victors. While goalless that day, the striker would later net 38 times that season to secure back-to-back Bundesliga scoring titles.
