Community rules & moderation
Who can take part
Registered members aged 18 or over. Members who are taking a break (self-exclusion) cannot read or post in the community during the break. Your display name is shown next to your posts; change it in your account.
Not allowed
- Spam, advertising and repeated posts.
- Links of any kind, email addresses, phone numbers, messaging handles (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord …) and payment details.
- Selling or offering tips, “fixed matches”, “sure wins”, VIP groups or inside information.
- Promoting bookmakers, casinos, bonuses, promo or referral codes.
- Illegal content: drugs, weapons, fraud, stolen data, match-fixing, and anything else unlawful in the EU.
- Hate speech, threats, harassment and sexual content.
- Personal data of other people.
- Encouraging others to bet more than they can afford, or to chase losses.
How moderation works
- Automatic checks. Every post is checked before it appears: a rule-based filter (links, contact and payment details, known spam and scam phrases, hate terms) and, where configured, an AI classifier. Posts that clearly break the rules are not published and you see the reason straight away. Borderline posts are held for a moderator; until then only you can see them.
- Limits. One post every 5 seconds, at most 20 in ten minutes and 150 per day.
- Reports. Any member can report a post. After reports from 3 different members it is hidden until a moderator has looked at it.
- Moderators approve or remove held and reported posts and can suspend posting for a day, a week or permanently for serious or repeated breaches.
Whenever a post is held or removed, the author sees the reason next to the post (statement of reasons under Art. 17 of the Digital Services Act). Opinions in the community are members' own and not advice from us.
Reporting illegal content
Use Report under any post. If you are not a member, or want to send a detailed notice (Art. 16 DSA), email [contact email] with the link to the content, why you believe it is illegal, and your name and email address (optional for notices about child sexual abuse material). We handle notices promptly and tell you what we decided.
Disagree with a decision?
Email [contact email] within six months of the decision, quoting the post. A person who was not involved in the original decision reviews it and replies with the outcome (Art. 20 DSA). You may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (Art. 21 DSA) or the courts.
